“We came to away to relax and that’s what we got at The Old Post office (devonCottage) clean and well equipped owner very friendly and helpful. Coastal path walk at Clovelly and Widemouth Bay at sunset highly recommended” (Miss C)
“Beautiful location for discovering North Devon’s hidden gems. Anyone appreciating gardens must seek out Docton Mill & Marwood Hill Gardens tricky to find but worth the effort. Charming accommodation with all the creature comforts one needs. A nice little welcome pack on arrival. If cooking is too much effort check out pub across road good grub and fine beers and cider” (Mr & Mrs H)
"The Devon cottage is a little tardis of grand designs. Spotless with home comfort. Sunshine blessed our week here so we have enjoyed many scenic drives and walks. Tiverton Canal, and roadford lake, are just two of the most tranquil locations. Hatherliegh has parking at £1.50 per day and a wonderful view from the monument. local people are very friendly and helpful, and Tina's welcome pack is a great example of this. With sincere thanks." "Lovely cottage with everything you need. We had a restful weekend break away from the bussle of family life. only one thing I would change is to have a small sofa to snuggle up on, otherwise everything perfect. Thank you for breakfast supplies." C and I Dorset
"This is a lovely place - ideal for 2 persons in this area. We are NT members and thus well served here - the pub opposite is friendly and well stocked - what more do you need in life? Would recommend the crossways Pub at folly gate fro decent food. Excellent weather this week. We hope you get the same! Many thanks for the B/Fast pack." S and J Sutton Coldfield
"Thanks Tina for a lovely, relaxing cottage that we'd definitely recommend to others. There's plenty to do around here and with Black Torrington being so close to coast, its in a great location. The crossways at folly gate does excellent food and one suggestion would be a blind for the velux window. Thanks again!" T and R Essex
